General Terms and Conditions for the booking of events

Our offer is intended for commercial customers. All prices that are stated are net prices plus statutory VAT. If you are booking an event as a private person, please inform us of this fact before making your booking. You will then receive all the necessary information from us in accordance with Section 312c of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Conditions of participation - Cancellation

Once your booking has been received you will receive a letter of confirmation and an invoice. A contract is formed between you and us upon receipt of the confirmation. The registration fee as stated in the invoice is payable immediately on receipt of the invoice. Please note that participation can only be granted if the registration fee has been paid before the date of the event. In the case of registration at short notice, you have the option of paying on site.

For cancellations up to 14 days before the date of the event a service charge plus statutory VAT will be charged. If your registration is withdrawn without naming a substitute after this date, 50% of the registration fee will be charged. For cancellations on the day of the event or non-appearance, the registration fee will be payable in full amount. Cancellations must be made in writing.

The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme due to unforeseen circumstances. Due to good cause, e.g. illness of the speaker, force majeure or in the event of too few participants, the organiser is entitled to relocate events or to name another date as a replacement. The organiser has to inform the registered participants about the cancellation of the original event date and the corresponding changes regarding place or date. Only if no alternative place or auxiliary date can be found – due to reasons the organiser is not responsible for - the event can be cancelled by the organiser against the full and immediate reimbursement of any fees that have already been paid. Further claims are excluded.

Room reservation

Rooms can be booked at preferential rates using the reference “Heuer Dialog” at the hotels listed in the event programme or registration confirmation. Please make your own room reservations and settle your hotel bill yourself.

Liability

Participation in our events is carried out at your own risk. During the event, you as a participant are legally insured against accidents through your employer. During the non-event time and during activities that are part of the accompanying programme you are not covered by this accident protection. Our liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Right of withdrawal for private participants in accordance with Section 312d in conjunction with Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB)

You have the right to withdraw your registration in writing by post, fax or email without grounds within 14 days of receiving the confirmation of registration. Cancellation costs will not be charged. Timely sending of your withdrawal to the following address shall suffice for the purposes of the notice period:

This right of withdrawal does not exist if the booked event has already taken place and the participant has taken part in the event.

Data protection

I give my consent for my data to be electronically processed by Bernd Heuer Dialog GmbH on the basis of the relevant data protection regulations and agree to being informed by post, fax or email about other events. I am aware that I can withdraw my consent at any time.

By registering I acknowledge the General Terms and Conditions.

These also apply for all future business relations, even if this is not expressly agreed again.

This contractual relationship is subject to German law. The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf.
